Danish Standards Foundation (DS) develops and publishes standards and guidelines and services the industry and the public sector with courses and consulting. DS is the national standardization organization in Denmark and the national member of the three European standardization organizations, CEN, CENELEC, ETSI and the international ISO and IEC. DS was founded in 1926 and is, thus, highly experienced in developing standards and facilitating the standardization process: − DS is active in more than 200 European and international standardization committees including CEN/TC 138 - Non-destructive testing, ISO/TC 44/SC 5, Testing and inspection of welds and 2 subcommittees within ISO/TC 135, Non-destructive testing − DS hosts a national mirror committee for Non-destructive testing (S-239). − As part of our international engagement DS holds the international secretariat for 9 Technical Committees at the moment. − As the national standardization organization in Denmark, DS maintains more than 27.000 DSimplemented standards. − DS is highly skilled in managing the standardization developing process with expert knowledge on both pre-standards (e.g. CWA, IWA, TS or TR) and standards (e.g. EN, ISO and IEC). − DS holds profound knowledge of the standardization rules and processes and is highly experienced in expert engagement, meeting facilitation, knowledge sharing and in ensuring progress, open and transparent processes and recognized results. The participation of a standardization body in EASI-STRESS provides knowledge and experience in the standardization system and its internal procedures.
